What I wrote (DID: Do No Harm) was unfinished when published, but it lacks thanks, especially to my best friend – Jack.

Thank you for being there for me over the years. You carried me through so much, and I will be forever grateful. I love you – I hope you arrive safely in Europe to see your Mum. I’m looking forward to you coming home – I could really use a coffee drive right now.

Thank you for providing me with a stable, safe home. Thank you for our coffee drives and chats. Thank you for burning yourself out for me, day in and out, for the past five or six years.

Other credits (mostly de-identified):

My parents (who did the best they could, despite both having their own past traumas)

Jack (for being there for me, for your friendship, for your integrity, morality and love)

Sarah (who taught me the trick of asking myself ‘What next?’ when in doubt)

Dr. Jordan Peterson (I got the idea of a mental ‘fog’ that one hides things in from him, I think)

My cat (for being paw-some! *awesome, but with a paw instead)
